After creating your account, ShopWrk guides you through a short setup wizard before taking you to your dashboard. The wizard collects the core details ShopWrk needs to configure your shop — your business name, location, the services you offer, and the size of your team. After the wizard, you’ll see a feature showcase and pick your theme before being introduced to your AI assistant, Shopwrker. If you leave mid-flow, ShopWrk saves your progress automatically. Return to the onboarding URL and you’ll resume at the last incomplete step.Documentation Index

The setup wizard
The wizard has five steps. Each one takes under a minute to complete.Welcome — confirm your shop name
The first step asks you to confirm or set your shop’s name. You can type the name directly, or use the Find your business on Google search to look up your shop. If ShopWrk finds a matching Google Business Profile, it prefills your name, address, phone number, and business hours automatically — saving you work in the steps that follow.
Address — enter your shop's location
Enter your shop’s street address, city, state or province, and postal code. ShopWrk uses this to configure your booking page, invoices, and local service settings. If the welcome step pulled your address from a Google Business Profile, this step is skipped automatically and you’re taken directly to the Confirm step to review what was imported.
ShopWrk supports US and Canadian addresses. Select the correct country from the dropdown so the postal code format validates correctly.
Confirm — review your shop details
This step shows a summary of what ShopWrk has collected so far: your shop name, address, phone number, website, and business hours.Review each field and edit anything that looks wrong. If you imported data from Google, this is the place to correct any details that didn’t come through accurately.
Services — choose what you offer
Select all the services your shop provides. ShopWrk uses this to configure your service catalog and set up relevant defaults.Available service types:
You must select at least one service to continue. You can add or remove services at any time after onboarding from Settings → Services.

After the wizard: showcase and theme
Once you finish the five wizard steps, ShopWrk takes you through two short post-wizard screens before opening the dashboard.Feature showcase
A 6-slide tour highlights what ShopWrk can do: responding to inbound leads, tier-based quoting, bay scheduling, inventory tracking, and self-closing estimates. Use the Next capability and Back buttons to move between slides. If you’d rather skip straight to setup, click Skip tour in the top-right corner. You can revisit these features from the dashboard at any time.Theme selection
Choose your preferred display theme: Light, Dark, or System (which follows your device’s setting). You can change this later in your account settings.AI setup with Shopwrker
After the theme step, ShopWrk introduces you to Shopwrker — your built-in AI assistant. A short onboarding chat helps configure your pricing tiers, estimate templates, and customer portal in a few minutes of conversation. If you’d prefer to skip this for now, click skip for now on the intro screen. You can open Shopwrker any time from the AI section in your dashboard navigation.Migration from another platform
