Open your template library
Go to Settings → Checklist templates. Templates are starting points. They are not assigned to a service by themselves. You copy a template onto a service later. Each template row shows how many steps it has. When a template is already in use, the row also says Used on 2 services, with the real number. Click New template to open the editor. Click a template row to edit it. You can duplicate a template from the editor. Delete stays disabled while a template is already in use.Older shop-wide checklist links now send you here. Build the live checklist on the service.
Attach one checklist to a service
Each saved service owns one checklist. Good, Better, and Best variants on that service all share it. You do not assign a checklist to a job type. The old checklist tab on the service is gone. Use the Checklist card instead.1
Save the service first
Go to Services and open the service. If you are creating a new one, click Save before you add a checklist. The card says Save the service first until you do.
2
Open the Checklist card
On the service you will see a Checklist card. It says All variants of this service share one checklist. The badge shows Published, Draft, or that nothing is added yet.
3
Create blank or use a template
Click Create blank to start empty, or Use template to copy a template into a draft on this service. Edit checklist opens the editor. Remove takes the checklist off the service.
4
Add steps and publish
In the editor, click Add step. Name the step and add optional instructions. Turn on This step is required when the job should not complete without it. Under Required evidence, choose None, Photo, Video, or Photo and video. You can set a minimum number of photos or videos.Click Save draft to keep working. Click Publish when the list is ready. New jobs only copy a published checklist. A draft stays on the service until you publish it.
