When you sign in as a shop owner, the ShopWrk iOS app gives you a real-time picture of your business from anywhere. Your home screen shows live metrics, today’s job schedule, quick-access tiles for the most common workflows, and a feed of recent activity — all in one scrollable view. Additional tools like search, global create, and the AI assistant are always a tap away from the bottom tab bar.

Home screen

The owner home screen is your operational command center. Pull down to refresh any section and get the latest data from your shop.

Greeting and status line

At the top of the home screen you’ll see a time-sensitive greeting — “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” or “Good evening” — personalised with your first name. Below the greeting, an amber pill shows how many jobs are currently in the bay, and a secondary line shows how many jobs are scheduled for the rest of the day.

KPI tiles

Four live metric tiles appear in a two-column grid immediately below the greeting. Each tile includes a mini chart that plots the last seven days of data.
TileWhat it shows
Revenue · TodayTotal revenue collected today, with a sparkline of the past 7 days
Jobs · TodayJobs done or in progress today out of the total scheduled, with dot-progress indicators
Pipeline · OpenTotal value of open estimates and pending approvals
AI Agent · TodayNumber of AI assistant interactions today, with a 7-day bar chart

Today’s schedule

Below the KPI tiles, a card shows up to three jobs on today’s calendar. The card header displays the current time and highlights the job that’s active right now alongside an “Up next” chip showing when the following job is due. Each row in the card shows the scheduled time, customer name, vehicle, and a colour-coded status label. Status colours at a glance:
  • Amber — in bay or under review
  • Green — completed or scheduled
  • Red — cancelled or no-show
Tap View full day in the section header to open the full Schedule tab.
The Schedule tab is coming in a future release. For now, the “View full day” link is a placeholder. Use the ShopWrk web dashboard to manage your full calendar.

Four tappable tiles give you fast access to the most-used sections of the app.

Activity feed

At the bottom of the home screen, a “Recent activity” section shows a chronological list of shop events from the last 24 hours: new jobs created, jobs completed, invoices sent, and payments received. Each row shows the event title, a detail line, and a relative timestamp (for example, “2 min ago”).

Create

The Create tab (the + in the bottom tab bar) opens a quick-start action sheet. It lets you kick off any of the five most common creation tasks without navigating away from what you’re doing.
ActionWhat it does
New jobOpens a job for a customer and vehicle
New estimateBuilds an estimate to send for customer approval
New invoiceCreates an invoice to charge for completed work
New customerAdds a new customer and their first vehicle
New vehicleAttaches a vehicle to an existing customer
Full create flows for estimates, invoices, customers, and vehicles are being added in an upcoming release. Tapping those rows currently shows a “Coming soon” notice. New job creation is available now.

Tap the search icon in the top-right corner of the home screen to open the search overlay. The overlay auto-focuses a search field and shows a “Browse” list of categories while the field is empty. Start typing to search across:
  • Customers
  • Vehicles
  • Jobs
  • Invoices
  • Estimates
Results appear as you type. Tap any result to open the record.

Contacts

The Contacts section (accessible from the quick-action tile on your home screen) is where you’ll manage customers and leads.
Full contacts functionality is coming in a future release. Use the ShopWrk web dashboard to manage customers and leads in the meantime.

AI assistant

The Assistant tab (sparkle icon) opens a conversational AI interface trained on your shop’s data. Ask it questions about your jobs, revenue, customers, or general shop operations. You can also view Artifacts — structured outputs the assistant has generated, such as summaries and reports — by navigating to the artifacts screen from within the Assistant tab.
The AI assistant works best with specific questions. For example: “How many jobs did we complete this week?” or “Which technician has the most open jobs today?” rather than open-ended prompts.

Notifications

Push notifications keep you informed of key shop events even when the app is in the background. ShopWrk sends notifications for new job activity, payment events, and messages. Tap any notification to open the relevant screen directly. To manage which notifications you receive, go to your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → ShopWrk.
