ShopWrk’s social media tools let you manage your shop’s online presence from one place. Connect your accounts, compose posts with AI-assisted captions and hashtags, schedule them in advance, and review performance metrics — all without switching between apps.

Connect your social accounts

Go to Settings → Social Accounts to link your platforms.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

Connect your Facebook Page and linked Instagram Business account through a single Meta OAuth flow.

TikTok

Publish short-form video content to your TikTok account.

Google Business

Post updates directly to your Google Business Profile.

Connecting Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

Meta’s Instagram Business publishing requires a connected Facebook Page. ShopWrk handles this through a single OAuth connection.
1

Click 'Connect' on the Meta card

You’ll be redirected to Facebook to log in and choose which Page to connect.
2

Grant all requested permissions

ShopWrk needs permission to manage your Page posts and, if applicable, your linked Instagram Business account. Decline any permission and that platform won’t be available for publishing.
3

Confirm both accounts appear

After completing OAuth, ShopWrk shows separate entries for your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account, each with a Connected badge.
Instagram publishing through the Meta API requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported.

Connecting TikTok and Google Business

For TikTok and Google Business, click Connect next to the platform. You’ll go through that platform’s OAuth flow and return to ShopWrk once authorized.

Account statuses

StatusMeaning
ConnectedActive and ready to publish
Needs ReconnectAuthorization expired — click Reconnect
ExpiredToken has lapsed — reconnect to restore access
If an account shows Needs Reconnect or Expired, posts scheduled to that account will not publish until you reconnect.

Creating and scheduling posts

Go to Marketing → Social Planner and click New Post, or navigate to Marketing → Social → Create Post.
1

Write your caption

Type your post copy in the caption field. ShopWrk shows a live platform preview so you can see how the post will look on each channel.
2

Add media

Upload images or video. Each platform has its own format requirements — ShopWrk warns you if an uploaded file doesn’t meet the target platform’s specs.
3

Select target accounts

Choose one or more connected accounts to publish to. You can post the same content to multiple platforms at once.
4

Schedule or publish

  • Publish now — sends the post immediately to all selected accounts.
  • Schedule — pick a date and time. The post appears in the Social Planner calendar and publishes automatically at the chosen time.

AI caption and hashtag tools

The post composer includes AI-powered tools to help you write content faster:
  • Generate caption — describe your post (for example, “front window tint on a black Tesla Model 3”) and the AI drafts a ready-to-publish caption.
  • Suggest hashtags — generates relevant hashtags based on your caption and auto-styling niche.
  • Generate image — creates a social media graphic using AI if you don’t have a photo to attach.
The AI strategist is trained on auto-styling content. Giving it specific details — film type, vehicle make, finish result — produces more useful output than a generic prompt.

Draft saving

Posts are auto-saved as drafts while you compose them. If you leave the page before scheduling or publishing, your draft is waiting in the Social Planner when you return.

Social Planner calendar

The Social Planner at Marketing → Social Planner shows all your scheduled and published posts in a calendar view. Click any post to edit it, reschedule it, or view its performance after publishing.

Analytics

Go to Marketing → Social → Analytics to view aggregated engagement data across your connected accounts. The default view covers the last 30 days and shows metrics by platform. Metrics available include impressions, reach, engagement, and post-level performance. Use this view to identify which content types and posting times resonate with your audience.
Analytics data is pulled from each platform’s API and may be delayed by up to 24 hours depending on the platform.

Disconnecting an account

In Settings → Social Accounts, click Disconnect next to any account. Existing published posts are not affected. Scheduled posts targeting only that account will not publish after disconnection.
